When applying for a visa to North Korea (Democratic People’s Republic of Korea) as a Bangladeshi citizen, you may generally be required to submit the following documents:
Basic Documents:
- Valid passport with a minimum validity of seven months (including any old passports you may have).
- Visiting card.
- Bank statement for the last six months.
- Bank solvency certificate.
- Copy of your National Identity Card.
- Two recent passport-size photographs (taken within the last three months).
- Income tax certificate.
For Business Persons:
- Copy of the renewed trade license with notary public certification (English translation).
- Memorandum for limited company or Form XII.
- Blank page of office pad.
- Import/Export Certificate.
For Job Holders:
- No objection certificate (NOC) from your employer.
- Salary certificate.
- Copy of your employee ID card.
- Provident fund certificate.
- BMDC certificate for doctors or BAR council certificate for advocates.
For Students:
- Copy of your student ID card.
- Leave letter from your school/college/university.
- Birth certificate (only for children and infants).
Others:
- Marriage certificate copy (if spouse’s name is not mentioned in the passport).
- Copy of fixed deposit with certificate from the bank.
- Copy of Sanchay Patra with certificate from the bank.
- Share documents.
- Asset valuation documents (summary of property, bank statements, fixed deposits, and other financial documents).
- TIN certificate and tax return copy.
- Copy of credit card + statement (if applicable).
Sponsor’s Documents (if applicable):
- Invitation letter providing details of the invitee, purpose of the invitation, and visit dates.
- Copy of the host party’s passport (identification page) and National ID/Alien Registration.
- Affidavit/Guarantee Letter (affidavit form available on http://www.hikorea.go.kr).
