The Embassy of Sweden in Dhaka also represents Belgium, Finland, Iceland, the Netherlands, Latvia, Luxembourg, Poland, and Slovenia. Short-term visa applications for these countries are accepted at the Sweden Visa Application Centre in Dhaka.

Requirements:

Basic Documents:

1. Passport with at least two blank pages, valid for a minimum of 6 months beyond the departure from the Schengen territory.
2. All previous passports.
3. Personal bank statement or company bank statement for the last six (06) months.
4. Two recent color photographs (35 mm x 45 mm) with a white background, not older than 3 months.
5. Travel health insurance valid for all Schengen countries, covering medical expenses with a minimum coverage of 30,000 EUR.

For Business Persons:

1. Renewal trade license copy.
2. Certificate of incorporation and memorandum of the company (only pages mentioning directors’ names) if you are an owner-director.
3. Office pad or company letterhead pad.
4. Import and export certificate, if applicable.
5. TIN or income tax certificate, if applicable.

For Job Holders:

1. No Objection Certificate (NOC).
2. Salary certificate.
3. Pay slips, if available.
4. Government Order (G.O.) for official passport.
5. BMDC certificate for doctors.
6. BAR council certificate for advocates.

For Students:

1. Photocopy of student ID card.
2. Leave letter from school/college/university.

Other Supporting Documents:

(a) Tour program. (b) Visiting card. (c) Marriage certificate. (d) Birth certificate of children. (e) Documents of properties. (f) Photocopy of the blue book of car, if applicable. (g) Documents of other income, if applicable. (h) All documents of financial solvency such as FDR/share business/other savings/security deposit/cash investment, etc. (i) Copy of national identity card.

Embassy Fee: BDT 9,500 payable to the Embassy. Service Charge: BDT 4,500 payable to us + Travel health insurance.
