There is no Consulate or Embassy of Peru in Dhaka, nearest Embassy is in New Delhi, India.
But if you have all the below documents, Desire Tours and Travels will provide you the logistics support to have your visa stamped (Logistics charge applicable). You may not need to visit the embassy in New Delhi, India to process your visa.
TOURIST VISA REQUIREMENTS:
- Hotel Reservation from Peru: Provide a confirmed hotel reservation in Peru for the duration of your stay.
- Latest 1-year Income Tax Receipt: Submit the applicant’s income tax receipt from the past year, duly stamped by the Income Tax Department.
- Proof of Financial Capability: Furnish the original bank statements for the last three months, stamped by the bank, to demonstrate financial capability.
- Forwarding Letter: Include a letter from your company, indicating the purpose and duration of your stay. If you are retired, a housewife, student, or a minor, provide a covering note for sponsorship and confirmation of all expenses.
- Return Ticket or Reservation from Peru: Provide a copy of your return ticket or a confirmed reservation from Peru.
- Photocopy of Passport: Submit a photocopy of your passport at the time of application submission.
- Passport-Sized Photographs: Provide three passport-sized color photographs (4.3 x 3.5 cm) with a white background. The face should be visible and cover 70% to 80% of the photograph.
- Visa Application Forms: Complete two copies of the visa application forms, either typed or handwritten in block letters.
- Valid Passport: Ensure that your passport is valid for at least one year.
- Sponsorship Requirement: a) If you have a sponsor in Peru or Bangladesh, they should provide a written affidavit stating their responsibility for covering all boarding, lodging, and repatriation costs in case of illegal status or insufficient funds. b) Provide identity and financial proofs of the sponsor.
- Detailed Tour Itinerary: Present a day-by-day detailed itinerary of your tour.
BUSINESS VISA REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid Passport: Ensure that your passport is valid for at least one year.
- Visa Application Forms: Complete two copies of the visa application forms, either typed or handwritten in block letters.
- Passport-Sized Photographs: Provide three passport-sized color photographs (4.3 x 3.5 cm) with a white background. The face should be visible and cover 70% to 80% of the photograph.
- Photocopy of Passport: Submit a photocopy of your passport at the time of application submission.
- Return Ticket or Reservation from Peru: Provide a copy of your return ticket or a confirmed reservation from Peru.
- Formal Notarized Invitation Letter: Obtain a formal notarized invitation letter in Spanish from your business partner in Peru. The invitation should be directly mailed or faxed to consular@embassyperuindia.in or faxed to +91-11-4616 3301.
- Forwarding Letter: Include a letter from the company where you are employed, outlining the purpose of your visit.
- Proof of Company Registration and Profile: Provide proof of the company’s registration and its profile.
- Letter from Recognized Local Chambers of Commerce: Obtain a letter from recognized local chambers of commerce (such as FIEO, FICCI, APEDA, ASSOCHAM, PHD) stating the company’s registration with them.
- Last 3 Months’ Company Bank Statement: Submit the original bank statement of the company for the last three months.
- Latest 1-year Income Tax Receipt: Include the applicant’s latest income tax receipt for the past year, with the seal from the Income Tax Department if paid manually.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
- Police clearance certificates are mandatory for nationals of Bangladesh.
- The visa processing time is between 10-15 days, plus an additional 6 working days for passport processing.
- The Embassy of Peru reserves the right to request additional documents or conduct an interview for verification.
- The visa is valid for one year from the date of issue.
- The visa fee is BDT 3,375 for one year validity with a single entry, plus Desire Tours and Travels’ service charge for logistics support.
