A tourist visa is an official document or stamp that grants permission to an individual to enter a foreign country for the purpose of leisure and tourism. To apply for a tourist visa, the following requirements must be fulfilled:

1. Passport: The applicant must provide their original passport, which should have been issued within the last 10 years. The passport must be valid for at least six months beyond the intended date of departure. Two blank pages that are adjacent to each other in the passport are required. Clear photocopies of all pages, including previous passports if applicable, should be submitted.
2. Visa Application Form: The applicant needs to complete an online visa application form with accurate and complete information. The form should be filled out carefully.
3. Photograph: Two recent passport-size photographs (3.5mm x 4.5mm) must be submitted. The photos should have a white background and show the applicant’s full frontal view. Wearing glasses is not allowed, except for prescription eyewear.
4. Cover Letter: The applicant must provide a personal cover letter addressed to the Visa Officer at the Embassy of Panama in New Delhi. The letter should include personal details, the purpose of the visit, and information about who will bear the full costs of the trip. The visa category should be mentioned in the subject line.
5. Forwarding Letter: A letter from the applicant’s employer on official letterhead is required. This letter should state the applicant’s name, designation, passport number, purpose of the visit, assigned roles during the visit, duration of the visit, contact details, and other relevant information.
6. Tour Plan: The applicant needs to submit a detailed itinerary of their tour, including the duration of stay and the places they plan to visit.
7. Office ID Card: Copies of the applicant’s office ID card or visiting card should be included (three copies).
8. Company Memorandum: If the applicant is the owner or managing director of the company or holds a director position, a clear scanned copy of the Company Memorandum should be provided.
9. Personal Bank Statements: The applicant must submit their personal bank statements for the last six months. The statements should mention the bank’s name and telephone number, and bear an authorized bank stamp and signature.
10. Personal Income Tax Return Certificate: The applicant must provide their income tax return certificate for the last three years.
11. Company Bank Statements: If the trip is sponsored by the company, bank statement copies of the sponsoring company for the last six months, bearing the bank’s name, telephone number, and authorized bank stamp and signature, must be submitted.
12. Company Income Tax Return Certificate: If the trip is sponsored by the company, the applicant must submit the company’s income tax return certificate for the last three years. The certificate should be legalized by legal authorities.
13. Airline Ticket Itinerary: The applicant needs to provide a reserved itinerary for their airline ticket, including the trip’s schedule and return details.
14. Hotel Reservation: A reserved itinerary for the applicant’s accommodation, indicating the hotel or resort as per the trip’s schedule, should be submitted.
