ourist Visa for New Zealand – Information

To apply for a tourist visa to New Zealand, you will need the following basic documents:

  1. Passport: Your passport must have at least two blank pages and be valid for a minimum of six months. Also, include any previous passports you have.
  2. Photographs: Submit two recent color photographs (passport size) with a white background. The photos should not be older than three months.
  3. Marriage Certificate: If applicable, provide a copy of your marriage certificate.
  4. Letter from Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA): Include a letter from your country’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs stating that you are a genuine tourist and will return to your home country after your visit.

For Business Persons:

If you are a business person, you will also need the following additional documents:

  1. Personal and Company Bank Statements: Submit bank statements for the past six months for both your personal account and your company’s account. Also, include a bank solvency certificate for both.
  2. Renewal Trade License Copy: Include a copy of the renewal trade license for your business.
  3. Certificate of Incorporation and Memorandum of your Company: Provide the relevant pages of the certificate of incorporation and memorandum of your company that mention the names of the directors. This applies if you are an owner or director of the company.
  4. Office Pad/Company Letterhead Pad: Include a document from your office with your company letterhead.
  5. Import & Export Certificate: If applicable, provide a copy of the import and export certificate.
  6. TIN/Income Tax Certificate: Include a copy of your Tax Identification Number (TIN) or income tax certificate, if applicable.

For Job Holders:

If you are employed, you will need the following additional documents:

  1. Personal Bank Statement and Solvency Certificate: Submit your personal bank statement for the past six months and a bank solvency certificate.
  2. No Objection Certificate (NOC): Obtain a No Objection Certificate from your employer stating that they have no objection to your travel.
  3. Salary Certificate and Payslips: Include a salary certificate from your employer and any recent payslips, if available.
  4. G.O (Government Order) for Official Passport: If you hold an official passport, provide a copy of the government order granting you the passport.
  5. BMDC Certificate for Doctors: If you are a doctor, include a certificate from the Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council (BMDC).
  6. BAR Council Certificate for Advocates: If you are an advocate, provide a certificate from the Bangladesh BAR Council.

For Students:

If you are a student, include the following additional documents:

  1. Student ID Card Copy: Provide a copy of your student identification card.
  2. Leave Letter: Obtain a leave letter from your school, college, or university stating the dates of your intended travel.

Sponsor Documents (if applicable):

If you have a sponsor for your trip, include the following documents:

  1. Invitation Letter: Obtain an invitation letter from your sponsor in New Zealand.
  2. Passport Copy: Provide a copy of your sponsor’s passport.
  3. Address Verification: Include a copy of a tenancy agreement or driving license for address verification.

Other Supporting Documents:

You may also include the following supporting documents if applicable:

  • Tour Program
  • Visiting card
  • National Identity Card (NID) copy
  • Birth certificate of children
  • Property documents
  • Blue book photocopy of a car, if applicable
  • Documents of other income, if applicable
  • Financial solvency documents such as Fixed Deposit Receipts (FDR), share business details, savings, security deposits, cash investments, etc.
  • National Identity Card copy

Please note that the visa fee per person is NZ$211, along with additional service handling fees and DHL costs. The fees may vary for couples and families. Also, be aware that the visa processing time is approximately 1.5 months.

All documents in Bangla must be accompanied by an English translation.
