Desire Tours and Travels offers comprehensive visa consultancy services for various types of short-term Schengen visas, including Tourist Visa, Business Visa, Family Visa, and others. Their services cover document preparation, assessment, and assistance in preparing supporting documents.

When obtaining a Schengen visa, it’s important to note that you must enter and exit through the country for which you have applied the visa. For Schengen visa applications, you need to submit your application at the embassy of your main destination.

Malta is one of the 26 Schengen States, and for Bangladeshi citizens, short-term visas for Malta fall under the Schengen visa category, allowing a maximum stay of three months. The consular office of Malta in Dhaka is represented by The Embassy of Italy in Dhaka for Schengen visas. The Italy Visa Application Centre in Dhaka, authorized by The Embassy of Italy, handles the submission of visa applications on behalf of the embassy. It’s important to note that appointments are not required to submit your applications at the Visa Application Centre, and all documents and passports must be submitted in person.

Once visa decisions are made, applicants can collect their passports from the visa application center in person.

Below are the addresses and primary contact details for both the Embassy and the visa application center:

A business visa is a temporary travel authorization that enables entrepreneurs or company employees to visit a foreign country for business-related purposes. To apply for a business visa for Malta, the following requirements must be fulfilled:

  1. Passport: Submit your original passport, which must be valid for at least six months beyond the intended date of departure from any of the Schengen member states. The passport should have two blank pages, and no alterations or handwriting should be present.
  2. Visa Application Form: Complete the visa application form accurately, using block letters. Sign the form, and if applying online, ensure your digital signature is included.
  3. Photographs: Provide two recent passport-sized photographs with a white background. The photos should show 60%-70% face coverage and follow international standards (size 4.0 X 3.5, as set by ICAO). The pictures must be printed on matt/semi-matt paper, be no more than six months old, and have no borders.
  4. Cover Letter: Write a personal cover letter addressing the Visa Officer at the Malta Embassy in Dhaka. Include your personal details, purpose of the visit, responsible party for trip expenses, travel and accommodation arrangements, and specify the visa category. For a business visit, mention the purpose and duration of the trip, along with evidence of sufficient funds.
  5. Invitation Letter from a Malta Registered Company/Organization: Submit an original invitation letter from the hosting company or organization in Malta. The letterhead should state the purpose and duration of the business trip. If attending an event, congress, or trade fair, provide full details of the organizer, event duration, and your participation.
  6. Forwarding Letter: Include a letter from your employer’s office, such as a No Objection Certificate (NOC) or Letter of Intent (LOI) on the organization’s letterhead. The letter should mention your name, designation, passport number, purpose and assigned roles during the visit, duration of the visit, contact details, and other relevant information.
  7. Nulla Osta: If planning to stay in Malta for more than 90 days, submit Nulla Osta documents to the designated country’s immigration police department.
  8. Office ID Card: Provide copies of your office ID card or visiting card (3 copies).
  9. Trade License: If you own or work for the sponsoring company, include a clear scanned copy of your valid trade license.
  10. Incorporation Certificate: Submit an incorporation certificate if you are the owner or employed by the company.
  11. Company Memorandum: If you are the owner or managing director of the company or hold a director position, provide a clear scanned copy of the company memorandum.
  12. Personal Bank Statements: Include your personal bank statements for the last six months, mentioning the bank’s name, telephone number, and bearing an authorized bank stamp and signature.
  13. Personal Income Tax Return (ITR) Certificate: Submit your last three years’ income tax return certificate.
  14. Company Bank Statements: If the company is sponsoring your trip, provide the sponsoring company’s bank statements for the last six months. The statements should clearly display the bank’s name, telephone number, and bear an authorized bank stamp and signature.
  15. Company ITR Certificate: Include the last three years’ income tax return certificate of the sponsoring company. Ensure the certificate is legalized by legal authorities if the company is sponsoring the trip.
  16. Airline Ticket Itinerary: Provide a reserved itinerary for your airline tickets, covering the trip schedule and return.
  17. Hotel Reservation: Include a reserved itinerary for your accommodation, specifying the hotel or resort according to the trip schedule.

For a family visit visa or tourist visa, the requirements are similar, with slight modifications specific to the purpose of the visit.
