Tourist Visa Requirements:

• Visa Application Form along with two recent color photographs (sized as per passport requirements, not older than six months).
• Original certificate of the prepaid program from a travel agency, signed and stamped by an authorized person (*), or proof of accommodation reservation with a deposit or cancellation fee.
• Employment certificate with permission for leave, signed and stamped by an authorized person from the business entity (*).
• Educational institution enrollment certificate with permission for leave, signed and stamped by an authorized person from the institution (*), if traveling during the academic year.
• Salary slips of the last three months from the employer, or for students, the sponsor’s salary slips, duly signed and stamped by an authorized person (*).
• Income tax return acknowledgment for the last two assessment years.
• Pension slips of the last three months, duly signed and stamped by an authorized person (*).
• Bank account statements of the applicant or sponsor for the last three months, duly signed and stamped by an authorized person from the bank (*).
• Certificate of registration for self-employed individuals, duly signed and stamped by an authorized person (*).
• Airplane ticket booking.
• Travel medical insurance.

Business Visa Requirements:

• Visa Application Form along with two recent color photographs (sized as per passport requirements, not older than six months).
• Employment certificate, duly signed and stamped by an authorized person from the business entity (*).
• Letter of invitation from the Hungarian business partner, duly signed and stamped by an authorized person from the business entity (*). Please note that the invitation letter must be in Hungarian language; English language letters are not accepted.
• Evidence of actual business relations in Hungary, such as a letter of reference from the regional branches of the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry or the Hungarian Chamber of Agriculture (*). Please note that the letter of reference must be in Hungarian language; English language letters are not accepted.
• If the intended stay in Hungary is more than 30 days, the invitation letter should provide a detailed weekly schedule of the program. Visa applicants may be called for an interview in such cases. If the intended stay involves work in Hungary, a work permit issued by Hungarian authorities, upon request of the Hungarian business partner, must be provided.
• Proof of prearranged accommodation, even if arranged or covered by the Hungarian business partner, with deposit or cancellation fee payment.
• Salary slips of the last three months from the employer, duly signed and stamped by an authorized person (*).
• Income tax return acknowledgment for the last two assessment years.
• Bank account statements of the applicant for the last three months, duly signed and stamped by an authorized person from the bank (*).
• Certificate of registration for self-employed individuals, duly signed and stamped by an authorized person (*).
• Airplane ticket booking.
• Travel medical insurance.
